 It was a nice and warm day though it was still early Spring. A tall young man with slender figure leaned on a big window, watching over traffic beneath. He crossed his sight into a big park across the building he stayed at. Children, couple, dogs and a lot of people looked happy and enjoying their time there. He sighed.

"Why don't you just go out?" A female voice distracted his mind. He turned his head. He saw Ria Sommerfeld was walking towards him and smiled. She held a huge cup, probably coffee, and passed it to him. He received the cup unawarily and before he realized, he could feel bitter liquid flushed through his dry throat.

Coffee Break Ch01
 So, today is 23rd August, in the middle of summer. That's what the calendar says. I look out through the window and see the sun is already shining. I'm stretching my body and yawning. Since last night I'm sitting in front of my laptop and doing my project research for my college's paper. I feel so sleepy but I can't sleep before I'm sure this project is perfectly done and flawless, but thanks God, it's almost done. I just need to recheck few things and then I'm done! Just thinking about that really re-energizes me and I'm starting to work on my paper again. On my paper, I'm researching about music culture in Europe. I remember when, five years ago, after a hard day at high school, I came back home. When I entered, my mother told me that a friend of my father came to stay the whole afternoon with us.

I left my backpack in my roon and then, I went to the kitchen. I said hello to my father and to the weird and freaky looking man. He was probably fourty years, was tall, fat and ugly.

In your shadowThe crowd was so loud that night. The lights shone like the sun on midday, maybe even brighter. His feelings, though, was as dark as the night. The evening had just begun, and still it was as if it never should have started. It never should! His only thought was about how to make it stop, how to make the evening end. Without him having to do a thing. But that probably was impossible.  As impossible as he knew it was, he wanted it. He wanted it all to end. Right now, at that second.
